A Card for Facebooks "Sundays with Santa"

Good Morning Crafters, well its been a really busy week, I have been catching up with my Spring Cleaning and gradually getting to the end of it, just a few little jobs left to do, I was amazed this morning and how much dust collects on the lamp shades on the ceiling I used a brand new duster and it was filthy by the time I had finished.
Also I had two fabulous pieces of good news in the last week my second eldest grandson who is almost 22 got a 2-1 grade in Computer Sciences at Sheffield University and that might sound pretty good but when you consider he suffers with Asperger's and mild Autism I think its brilliant he never did find it easy to express himself or cope with English to well, Im so very proud of him, He also worked all through the Summer Holidays last year that he was able to afford his own flat, Well Done Thomas.
Then my younger Granddaughter had her Prom and she looked stunning, shes such a beauty and her dark red dress really looked beautiful, she has now left School and hopes when shes 18 to start Teacher Training but I think in the meantime she will probably think about getting a certification in child care to help her along the way.
But back to my card this was created with the new Sue Wilson Festive Dies, I have also used a embossing folder and layered it up with red card as well as the white. I hope you like the result.

This card is a stunner! I love the layout and the pop of red. You should be proud of both of them. When I read about your grandson, he should be so proud of himself because it did not come easy to him. It reminds me of a couple of people I know. They are a brother and sister. they are both highly intelligent where school came easy to them. He got one of the highest grades in high school across Canada and was the Valedictorian. His sister is very intelligent and witty but they never applied themselves. He will be 50 this year and she will be 52. They have lived in their same rooms of their parent's house since the parents built it-that was when she was only 7! The brother has worked for 26 yrs at Blacks Cameras which is now closing. She has never had a decent job in any field. She is also one of the most caustic and opinionated people I know-very negative. So, they had everything going for them and money was not a big deal and they flunk at life. Your grandson had to work hard and look at what he attained and he is independent! Kudos to both your grandchildren
